RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read job ticket/instructions thoroughly and efficiently to produce accurate work.
- Maintain/repair equipment for optimum operation (extended maintenance procedures)
- Place service calls and work with HP remote and on-site support to troubleshoot press issues.
- Adjust settings in computer software or on the equipment itself to meet quality requirements.
- Perform quality checks to ensure color continuity and quality expectations for all printed material.
- Meet or exceed scheduled production timelines, focusing on uptime and efficient job production.
- Assist in the scheduling/prioritization of jobs to meet client SLA
- Suggest and implement areas of improvement for operation efficiencies.
- Organize/return all department related consumables, substrates and other related materials to maintain maximum productivity.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge with the ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions
- Strong verbal communications skills
- Attention to detail and take pride in ones work
- Ability to distinguish subtle differences/variations in color
- Lifting and moving parts and material up to 50 lbs
